Family Health Division provides:
- Child and Teen Checkups, by appointment
- Immunizations
- Hearing and vision checks for children
- Maternal and child health home visiting
- Diet and nutrition recommendations for children
- Transportation assistance for medical appointments
- Referrals
Regular health checks keep children healthy by identifying and treating health problems early, providing the needed immunizations to keep a child healthy, and meeting the requirements for Head Start, preschool screening, and daycare.
There is no fee for service if your child has been accepted into a Minnesota Health Care Program such as Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare.
